THE fourth day of the 2025 ma­triculation examination contin­ued yesterday morning, with a total of 185,664 candidates sit­ting for the Chemistry exam and 22,846 candidates sitting for the geography exam nationwide, in­cluding at overseas examination centres.

 

This year, the Chemistry exam was conducted at 813 ex­amination centres, including 12 overseas centres and 801 do­mestic centres. A total of 195,603 candidates had registered for the exam, of whom 185,664 at­tended, while 9,939 were absent, resulting in an attendance rate of 94.92 per cent.

 

For the Geography exam, 674 examination centres were set up, comprising one overseas centre and 673 domestic cen­tres. Of the 25,240 registered candidates, 22,846 sat for the exam, while 2,394 were absent, leading to an attendance rate of 90.52 per cent, according to the Ministry of Education. — MNA/ MKKS
