An event to open the deputy commissioner’s office was held in Ward-4, Myawady Township in Kayin State this morning.

At first, Kayin State Commissioner U Kyaw Soe delivered an address and a town elder spoke words of thanks. Next, Kayin State commissioner, Lawmakers U Sein Bo, U Thant Zin Aung and U Aik Kyan Kham, Deputy Commissioner U Tezar Aung, Assistant Commissioner U Aung Chan Nyein and Township Administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko cut a ceremonial ribbon to launch the new office and sprinkled scented water on a stone inscription.

The deputy commissioner’s office was built by a private company in the fiscal year 2019-2020 at a cost of more than 3 million kyats.
