Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun received Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Ichiro MARUYAMA at his office in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am on Thursday.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed matters concerning exchanging contents between Myanmar’s State-owned MRTV and Japan’s national broadcasting organization NHK, developing professional capacity of the MRTV staff and promoting bilateral media cooperation.
Responsible information ministry officials were also present at the meeting together with the deputy minister while the Japanese ambassador was accompanied by NHK Executive Director Mr Yuki ITANO and responsible Japanese embassy staff.—MNA
