With the aim of narrowing gaps between urban and rural areas, Minbu District Department of Rural Development will be conducted construction of 10 rural roads, 23 pipe culverts, four slab culverts and a concrete bridge on the roads in ten villages, according to the Department. 

The projects will be conducted with K 337.425 million allocated by funds of Union and tender processes for the projects are being undertaken, according to an official from the Township DRD. 

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 20529 people from 4455 households in the villages and their agricultural products from 7887 acres of farmland will be distributed to the markets with saving time and money.
