Developmental works will be implemented in four villages in Tachileik Township in Shan State (East) during 2022-2023 FY, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The projects including construction of rural roads and box culverts, installation of water pipeline and related works will be conducted with K 321.45 million allocated by State Government during the fiscal year. Now, arrangements are being made to invite tender for the projects, according to the official.  

With the aims of distributing agricultural products to markets with saving time and money and providing drinking water to rural areas facing water scarcity, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking the needs of the rural areas.
