With the aim of upgrading socioeconomic development of local people in Segone village in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development are conducting developmental works in the village.

The officials from the Department are conducting water distribution projects, upgrade of rural road and disbursement of loans of emerald green project. During 2022-2023 FY, construction of a water plant and related works was conducted with K 10 million funded by the State and K 12 million contributed by public.

Upon completion, people in the village are available purified drinking water in all seasons.
