Developmental works such as construction of a rural bridge and box culverts are being undertaken in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region during 2021-2022 six month budget, according to Township Department of Rural Development.

With the aims of helping public transportation and upgrading the rural roads and bridges, construction of roads, bridges and box culverts are being implemented in the township with K 215.58 allocated by capital of regional government. The project is being conducted by tender winning company, Mega Miner Co.Ltd starting from second week of January.
