Developmental works are being conducted in 47 villages in four townships in Magway Region and officials from the District Department of Rural Development made weekly inspections at the sites. 

During 2022-2023 FY, construction of 43 concrete roads and a retaining wall and three water distribution projects are being conducted in the villages in the district. The projects are being implemented with K 10 million each provided by the project and K 166 million contributed by local people  in 47 villages starting from third week of August. Now, all the projects have been completed by 80 percent, according to the District Department of Rural Development.
