The township Dhamma school foundation and the Dhamma School Foundation (central) have jointly opened the Dhamma school teachership training school in Nawnghkio Township, Shan State yesterday morning.

The event was attended by the chairman of the township Sangha Maha Nayaka committee, patron monks of the township Dhamma school committee, members of the township Dhamma school foundation, course instructors and trainees. The ceremony was opened by reciting “Namo Tassa” three times and the congregation received “five Precepts” from a senior Buddhist monk.

Next, the chairman of the township Dhamma school committee explained the purpose of the training course and the ceremony came to an end by reciting “Buddha Sasana Ciran Tittatu”. The one-week training course is being attended by 120 trainees throughout the township.—IPRD
