A digital information literacy training course was opened at the meeting hall of the township education officer’s office in Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region yesterday morning with an opening speech by Deputy Township Education Officer U Kyaw Min.

 The training was jointly organized by Basic Education Department and Myanmar Book Aid and preservation Foundation (MBAPF).

 During the training course, course instructors from MBAPF will teach the trainees essential digital information literacy subjects drawn for the mental development of internet users using mobile phones as well as other devices. 

 A total of 65 teachers from basic education schools are attending the four-day training course that will be concluded on September 12.
