Kamaing 8 August
A ceremony to donate relief items such as rice, cooking oil, and legumes to internally displaced people took place at an IDP camp in Nantsiinn Village, Kamaing Town in Kachin State yesterday evening.
The contributions were made by gem entrepreneurs with the supervision of the town administrator. On the occasion, the town administrator explained the purpose of donation and encouraged the displaced people.
Next, departmental officials presented relief supplies worth Ks. 700,000 and Ks. 340,000 totaling Ks. 1.038 million to displaced people through an in-charge of the IDP camp who spoke words of thanks.—Zwe Thura Aung (IPRD)
