The final match of Meiktila District Administration Council chairman’s Cup Inter-Township U-19 Men’s football Tournament took place in conjunction with prize awarding ceremony at the District football ground in the town of Meiktila, Mandalay Region at about 3:30 pm on 24 May.

In the final match, the team representing Wundwin Township won over the squad representing Tharzi Township with 3-0 result. This was followed by the presentation of the prize, best player and individual medals to football teams and players.

At the event, chairman of the District Administration Council U Zaw Zaw Oo and officials presented the cash award, individual medals and championship trophy to champion Wundwin Township, individual medals and cash award to the second prize winner Tharzi Township and the best player of the tournament, respectively.

The players from four football teams in Meiktila District participated in the Inter-Township  U-19 Men’s  Football Tournament from 18 to 24 May 2022.—Chan Thar(Meiktila)
