A ceremony to provide cash and kind to storm victims from Falam, Tiddim and Tunzang Townships was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Falam yesterday morning.

At the ceremony, an official from the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and the deputy township administrator presented money and relief items to the storm victims. The storm victims were furnished with Ks. 19.7 million and relief supplies worth more than Ks. 1.2 million during the ceremony.

195 houses and nine religious buildings in Falam District have been damaged by the gusty winds in March and April.—John
