An inspection team from the Department of Consumers Affairs under the Ministry of Commerce shared knowledge about food safety at the village administrator’s office in Hanlin Village, Wetlet Township in Sagaing Region yesterday.

They also conducted a surprise check in six groceries whether the grocery owners are selling food prohibited by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Ministry of Health and Sports or not. The village’s consumer affairs committee was set up to disseminate knowledge about food safety.
