Yinmabin, 19 November

The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports will conduct a mass immunization campaign against polio and measles at the gathering points in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region from 26 to 28 November.

A knowledge sharing ceremony for mass immunization against polio and measles was held at Thayar Aye Hall of the General Administration Department in Yinmabin Township on 18 November. An official from the DoH disseminated knowledge about polio and measles and vaccination campaign and clarified future programmes. He also replied to queries raised by those present.  

The DoH will inject children under five years old with vaccination against various diseases such as polio, measles and rubella free of charge.—Than Htay Aung
