Medical staffs from the Department of Public Health have relaunched mass vaccination campaign at the government-designated gathering points in Hsinbaungwe Township, Magway Region today.

The mass vaccination campaign was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak. The department’s medical staff led by Dr Mon Soe Yee injected children aged less than one year and 6 month old and some pregnant women with vaccination against various diseases such as measles and rubella free of charge till 29 May.

The mass vaccination campaign against measles and rubella for kids under 5 years old is being carried out across the country with the aim of complete elimination of the diseases.
