Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Chen Hai, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myan­mar, yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the matters in promoting bi­lateral relations, cooperation in maintenance of peace and stability and the rule of law along the border areas be­tween Myanmar and China. — MNA
