U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Re­public of the Union of Myan­mar, received Mr Mutaz Ab­dullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

Both sides cordially ex­changed views on further strengthening the existing bilateral ties, including the establishment of diplomatic missions in each country, en­hancing economic coopera­tion and promoting trade and investment opportunities in all areas of mutual benefits between the two countries, including the energy sector.

Also, present at the meet­ing were senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA
