At the invitation of Mr Luo Wen, Minister of the Depart­ment of State Administration for Market Regulation, a Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Fi­nance U Win Shein departed from Yangon yesterday to at­tend the Fifth Quality Confer­ence in Chengdu, the People’s Republic of China. The con­ference is scheduled to take place from 1 to 2 September.

 

The conference will be held under the theme of “Quality Evolution and Coop­eration in Economic Recov­ery”. During the conference, discussions will focus on var­ious aspects of business and trade, including the ability to develop quality infrastructure and a favourable business en­vironment. Participants will exchange views on issues related to global quality de­velopment and cooperation. — MNA/KZW
