With the aim of creating job opportunities and boosting income of rural people, the township Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized a basic motorcycle repair course in Htiphe Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State yesterday.

On the occasion, an official from the township the Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of the course, and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more incomes in their family. Next, a course instructor introduced the subjects to be taught to the trainees during the training course.

The one-month training course is being attended by 30 trainees from the village. The township DRD organized the training course spending budget allocated by the regional government in 2020-2021 FY.
