Officials from the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation inspected work progress on rural water supply projects in hilly areas in Ngaphe Township, Magway Region this morning.
    

The DRD officials looked into completion of water fetching system and two 5000-gallon brick tanks in Pazi and Hsinlan Villages. The DRD awarded a contract to install water fetching system and brick tanks to a local construction company and the projects are being undertaken with Ks. 30.89 million in the fiscal year 2018-2019.
    

More than 500 local people from two villages are now enjoying sufficient water from the DRD-funded water supply projects.—Yu Yu Thein (IPRD)
