The Department of Rural Development will build three rural roads and a rural bridge in four villages in Salin Township, Magway Region.
    

Rural developmental tasks will be undertaken at a cost of Ks 315.15 million in the present fiscal year with the aim of helping locals from the villages transport their agricultural products in all seasons. Construction of three gravel roads and one box culvert were being carried out in four villages since the last week of November, said U Soe Khaing, Deputy Staff Officer from the DRD.
    

Construction tasks are being carried out by the tender winning private companies under the close supervision of the DRD. Upon completion, the rural developmental projects are expected to benefit 2,888 acres of farmland belonging to farmers from nearby villages.
