A rural road is being built by the Department of Rural Development in Paukyinkon Village, Ngaphe Township in Magway Region to help rural people sell their agricultural products in the market in time.
The rural road measuring 6,000 ft. long, 12 ft. wide, and 9 inch thick is being built by a tender winning company “Tun Kabar Lin Co” with Ks. 21 million allotted by the local government in the fiscal year 2019-2020 and the project is about 95 percent completed. In addition the gravel road also includes four culverts, said an official from the DRD.
Upon completion of the project, the rural road will benefit around 600 acres of farmland belonging to the rural people in the village and its nearby villages.—Thurein (Minbu)
