The Director of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Soe Than and officials inspected rural developmental tasks in Yamethin Township, Mandalay Region on 13 March.
  

They looked into digging up a tube-well, and installation of water pipeline, water tank and water treatment factory and construction of brick water tank being jointly implemented with around Ks. 40 million by the DRD under Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) rural development schemes.
    

They also inspected construction of 1295 ft. long, 14 ft. wide and 6 inch thick road in the village. The concrete road is being built with about Ks. 19 million donated by residents.—Min Myint Mo (Ngazun)
