Pruso, 11 March
Officials from the Department of Rural Development made an inspection tour to construction of rural roads and installation of fetching water systems in Pruso Township, Kayah State on 10 March.
Two rural roads, box culverts and fetching water systems are being implemented in Pruso Township, Kayah State by spending more than Ks. 100 million of the Union Budget allocated in the current fiscal year with the aim of helping rural people transport their products in the market in a rapid manner. DRD officials urged those tasked with executing the projects for timely completion and meeting the set standard.
Once completed, the rural roads and water supply facilities would benefit around 500 acres of farmland and local people would be able to enjoy sufficient water in all seasons.—Wut Yee
