The opening ceremony of a basic computer training course was held at the office of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Kyaunggon Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning.
On the occasion, Director of the DRD U Nay Htet Shein elaborated on the purpose of the course, saying the vocational training aims to enhance capacity of rural people, the second priority being initiated by the DRD. A town elder also spoke a congratulatory speech.
A total of 25 trainees throughout the township are being given practical and theoretical training during the 15-day course, according to the DRD.—Win Kyaing (IPRD)
