A senior official from the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation inspected rural developmental tasks in Gwa Township, Rakhine State this morning.

Director of the DRD U Aung Myo Lin was briefed by an official about the progress of rural developmental tasks being undertaken by the DRD with the allotted funds in the fiscal year 2018-2019. The DRD director called for timely completion of the projects, meeting the set standard.

The DRD is building rural roads and bridges, installing water fetching systems, digging up manual wells, extending water pipelines, and constructing rural housings with Ks. 596.82 million in Gwa Township.—Min Myint Mo (Ngazun)
