The Township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized an advanced sewing course at its office in Katha Township, Sagaing Region with a view to creating job opportunities for rural people.

First of all, Deputy Director of the District DRD U Aung Myint Than delivered an opening speech, and staff officer of the township DRD U Soe Than clarified the purposes of the training course.

The one-month training course is being attended by 20 trainees from wards and villages in the Township, according to an official from the Township DRD.—Lu Aung(Katha)
