A ceremony to wrap up a vocational basic sewing course, organized by the township Department of Rural Development, was held at the meeting hall of the Township DRD in Tabayin Township is a township in Shwebo District in the Sagaing Region on December 5.

At the event, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Win Myint Aung, the region Hluttaw Representative U Moe Min Win, chairman of the township management committee U Nay Lin Htet delivered speeches. Next, staff officer of the district DRD clarified the purpose of the training course and urged the trainees to practically apply lessons learnt in the training course to generate more income for their families.

This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to all trainees and awards to outstanding trainees in the training course by relevant officials. The one-month training course was attended by 10 trainees from the township, it is learnt.—Khin U Soe Wei
