A ceremony to open a vocational sewing course, organized by the township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held at the Dhamayone of Kaungbo Village in Lawksawk Township, Taunggyi District, Shan State (South) on 12 January.

At the event, the regional Hluttaw Representative U Khaing Nyi Nyi Kyaw delivered an opening speech. Then, assistant Director of the district Department of Rural Development Daw Lwin Lwin Oo and staff officer of the Township DRD U She Re clarified the purpose of the training course, and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families.

The one-month training course which runs from January 10 to February 11 is being attended by 30 trainees in accordance with the guidance of Ministry of Health and Sports.
