With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Department of Rural Development organized a sewing course at Dhamayone in Kadokseik Village, Munaung Township, Rakhine State this morning.

First of all, U Myint Hline, Administrator of the Township GAD delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, an official from the DRD clarified the purpose of the course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families. Afterwards, they posed for a group photo together with the officials.

The training course which will run from June 5-18 is being attended by 25 trainees from 12 villages in the Township.—Thein Pe, IPRD
