The Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is constructing two concrete pavements in Thangon and Bot Villages, Myothit Township in Magway Region.

The two roads are 1200 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and 6 inch thick. The roads are being built with Ks. 31.5 million allocated by the DRD and contributed by local people and are 75 percent completed, said an official from the DRD. The DRD officials led by an assistant director inspected work progress in construction sites this morning.

The Village Development Plan is being carried out in 12 villages by the DRD in the fiscal year 2018-2019, the DRD official added.—Nyein Thu (Salin)
