Tatmadaw columns participating in the 74th Armed Forces Day Parade on 27 March conducted a dress rehearsal at the Nay Pyi Taw parade ground yesterday morning.

Anawrahta, Kyansittha, Bayintnaung, Aung Zeya, Sinbyushin, Bandoola and Myawady columns participated in the dress rehearsal. The Tatmadaw columns led by a Tatmadaw military band marched from the assembly point of Thittat Parade Ground to the parade ground while singing marching songs.

The dress rehearsal was observed by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, Union Ministers Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe and Lt-Gen Sein Win, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air Force) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior officers from Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief’s Office, Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Maung Maung Aye, Armed Forces Day organizing committee chairman Nay Pyi Taw Command commander Maj-Gen Myint Maw and officials and Vice Senior General Soe Win gave advice and instructions to officials concerned to ensure proper coordination, according to news released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.— MNA
