Officials from Waw Township Rural Development Department distributed drinking water to villages experiencing water scarcity in Waw Township.
In Oatphoe village, a total of 837 people from 141 households are relying on two lakes for drinking water. Now, one of the lakes is being renovated and fenced in 2018-2019 fiscal year.
Therefore, the officials from the Rural Development Department distributed 5,000 gallons of drinking water to rural people in the village by a mobile water treatment plant.
