Shanywathit, 27 April
Some wards and villages in Shanywathit sub-Township started to face scarcity of drinking water as the dry season set in.
As part of efforts to ease the difficulties of the people, the Township Fire Services Department distributed drinking water to the affected people free of charge at a Monastery in Shanywathit sub-Township this morning.
The Fire Services Department also plans to donate drinking water to other monasteries, villages and wards that face shortage of drinking water, and to conduct informative talks on the danger of fire during summer season.—Zin Lay(IPRD)
