Some villages in Hpruso Township, Loikaw District in Kayah State suffered from scarcity of drinking water due to extreme hot weather as the dry season set in.
As part of efforts to help the difficulties of rural people, personnel from Department of Social Welfare paid a domiciliary visit to provide drinking water to the affected people in Wethudaw Village and Khorakhu Village and provided 1400 gallons of drinking water to 14 households from Wethudaw Village and 1400 gallons of drinking water to 33 families from Khorakhu Village in the township.—Township IPRD
