Drinking water was provided to rural people in Yan Nyein Aung village in Tamu Township, Kale District, Sagaing Region this morning.

Officials from the Township Rural Development Department and Township Fire Services Department were jointly distributed a total of 2400 gallons of drinking water to 294 people from 63 households in the village.

There are a total of 17 wells in the village however, the wells run dried in summer. Therefore, a well will be dug with the funds of the Rural Development Department in the village. Nyein Thu (Salin)
