A combined team consisting of security personnel, immigration officials and customs authorities detected narcotics in the luggage of a passenger bound for Jakarta, Indonesia at Terminal 1 at Yangon International Airport on 30 April, 2019. 

This detection has led to the discovery of Methamphetamine ICE tablets weighing 5.6 kilograms, Ks. 160,000 and one mobile phone from a Indonesia man identified as Mr. Joni Kriswanto, 30 years old, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Action has been taken against the three people under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MOHA
