In commemoration of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on 26 June, staff from Information and Public Relations Department conducted public awareness campaign on drugs and distributed drugs prevention pamphlets to local people in Panglong, Loilaem District, Shan State (South) this morning.

As part of efforts to eradicate narcotic drugs in the township, staff from the township IPRD handed out 500 drugs prevention pamphlets to local people at the crowded places such as markets, car parks and bus terminal in the town.—Nan Myint Myint Swe, IPRD
