Local authorities confiscated drugs in Myitthar Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region yesterday. 

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising policemen led by Police Capt. Hla Than Naing from Myittha Police Station together with witnesses raided the house of Ma Za(a) Khine Za Lin, 38,  on Kyetthartan Road in Shanpwe Ward in Myittha yesterday afternoon and confiscated 836 stimulant tablets weighing 86.3 grams worth K 1.2 million along with related items for using drugs from her. 

Authorities filed charges against Ma Za(a) Khine Za Lin under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Su Mon, IPRD
