Police members from the township Anti-Drug Squad intercepted two motorcycles driven by Mauk Yon and Min Wai Maung on Paungbyin-Pinlebu Road in Paungbyin Township, Mawlaik District in Sagaing Region yesterday morning and confiscated heroin 0.55 kilo and a mobile phone from them, according to the information released by Myanmar Police Force.
The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
