A combined team confiscated drugs, guns and bullets from a suspect during a house raid in Monghsat Township, Shan State on 24 September, according to a source from the Ministry of Home Affairs.


An anti-drug squad raided the house of a suspect identified as Lawbel, 46 years old from Wangmai Village, Monghsat Township at about 7:30 a.m. on 24 September. They discovered 36,000 stimulant tablets, 4 kilos of stimulant powder, three assault rifles and 120 bullets in the house.


The house owner is being questioned over possession of drugs and weapons by the local police station.
