MYANMA Economic Bank (MEB) notified all that cash withdrawal from e-Pension cards can be undertaken at 190 branches equipped with a centralized e-Pension system without a service charge.

MEB’s e-Pension system has been upgraded to a cen­tralized e-Pension system since September 2023. The centralized e-Pension system has reached 190 banks as of May 2026.

The pensioners can check the branches that operate the centralized e-Pension system through www.meb.gov.mm and the Myanma Economic Bank Facebook page prompt­ly. MEB notified government pensioners.

The centralized e-Pen­sion system was available at 185 banks in February 2026, and the service was extended to five more branches: Shw­egyin branch in Bago Re­gion, Taninthayi branch and Kyunsu branch in Taninthayi Region, Tangyan branch and Mongshu in Shan State. — ASH/KK
