An event to hand over exercise books provided by the Department of Education to 30 high schools was held at Aung San Hall of No.1 Basic Education High School in Mohnyin, Kachin State on July 16.
    

On the occasion, Kachin State MP U Tin Aye gave a speech and District Education Officer Daw Than Than Oo elaborated on preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus taken to reopen schools. Next, the Kachin State MP and concerned officials presented exercise books to respective schools.
    

There are nearly 7,700 Grade-10 students in the current academic year in the township, according to the township education office.
