Two gunmen opened fire at a school on Wednesday morning in the outskirts of Sao Paulo, Brazil. They killed eight people and then shot themselves to death.
The masked men stormed into the state school in Suzano and reportedly started shooting at around 9:30 a.m. local time.
Police say five students and three members of the faculty were killed, and more than 10 others were wounded.
About 1,000 students between the age of six and 18 are enrolled at the school. The school was in a break period at the time of the shooting.
Police say the two men are thought to be aged 17 and 25 and used to attend the school.
They add the assailants carried other weapons, including a bow and arrows.
Police are looking into the motive for the attack.
