The elderly above 85 years old in Pyay (East) Ward, Dagon Township in Yangon west District were furnished social pension yesterday.

U Thaik Soe, administrator of Pyay (East) Ward in Dagon Township made a domiciliary visit to disburse social pension to senior citizens above 85 years of age and gave K 1000 each to seven elderly people above 85 years of age-two old men and five old women.

The Department of Social Welfare provides a social pension to the elderly citizens once every three months.—Township IPRD
