Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare provided social pension to elderly people in Leikpya Ward in the town of Bago, Bago Region this afternoon on a door to door basis.

Under this cash aid program, senior citizens who are eligible for social pension in the ward received K 30000 each for the months of July, August and September.

There are 53 elderly people including 18 women and 35 man in ward of Leikpya in the town of Bago.—Hein Htet(Bago)
