Kachin State Government disbursed social pension to elderly citizens above 85 years of age in Legone Ward in the Towns of Myitkyina, Kachin State this morning.

 


Also present on the occasion were Minister of Kachin State Social Affairs U Nay Win, wife of the state Chief Minister Dr Jay Kaw Bu, Director of the state Social Affairs Department Daw Myah Marlar Soe and officials.

 


At the event, U Nay Win, Minister of Kachin State Social Affairs, delivered a message and Dr Jay Kaw Bu and Daw Myah Marlar Soe explained about the provision of social pension for the elderly people.

 


Officials from the Department of Social Welfare disbursed K 30000 each to 18 elderly citizens   aged above 85 years in Legone Ward, Myitkyina for the months of April, May and June. Minister of Kachin State Social affairs U Nay Win and officials will pay a domiciliary visit to disburse social pension to the remaining elderly people in the Ward and will also give K 30000 each to them.—Win Naing (Kachin Myae)
