Free healthcare services were provided to elderly people and pensioners aged 85 and above at the People’s Hospital in Kamma Township, Magway Region, at 10:00 am on 11 March.

The services included weight measurement, blood pressure checks, body temperature measurement, blood sugar testing for diabetes, and other basic health examinations.

Necessary medical treatments were provided free of charge by Head of the Township Hospital Dr Thet Oo Han, the assistant head, and other health workers.

According to the Township Public Health and Medical Services Department, these medical examinations and treatments are conducted every Wednesday to ensure regular health monitoring for elderly residents.— Kyaw Zeyar Win (Kamma)
