A ceremony to provide social pension to elderly people above 85 years old was held at the meeting hall of the township management committee in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday afternoon.
First, Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin delivered an opening speech and handed over social pension to concerned village Administrators in the township for the months of October, November and December.
Altogether 715 senior citizens who are eligible for social pension in three wards and 53 village-tracts in the township received K 30000 each.
